have made a significant investment in Research and Development to
bring the Vigilis-Bio range of biodegradable tree shelters to market.
Internal testing is now at an advanced stage and we are now ready
to begin testing the product at scale in the forestry environment.
Vine shelters and wraps
Our innovative bio material is designed to last a minimum of five
years in the UK climate, after which it will start to break up and fall
to the ground. Once in contact with the soil, and without any need
for continued light exposure, the material will be absorbed into the
environment – literally eaten by soil microbes and bacteria, leaving
no micro-beads of plastic or toxicity of any kind.

Vigilis Tree Shelters
Our range of tree protection shelters and guards have been specially designed to protect newly
planted saplings, vines and young trees from browsing animals, herbicides, strong winds and
strimmers. Tree shelters have been proven to improve the survival rates of trees, as well as the
time it takes for them to reach maturity where they will no longer require protection.
Made from UV-stabilised, biodegradable polypropylene offering 5+ years of protection
Twin-wall construction for added strength and rigidity
Flared upper rim to minimise abrasion of the soft stem of the tree
Perforated break-line designed to ensure that the tree shelter splits as the tree grows
Increased diameters ranging from 73-110mm - the largest standard range on the market!
